In less than twenty-four hours, if all goes well, I will be sitting in a plane on my way to Italy. Hopefully there will be none of the "flunging" mentioned in my subject heading. I am hoping that there will be some interesting stories and photos that I can share here. Can't gaurantee that this will be a regular posting because, among other uncertainties, I don't know what my internet access will look like.

Answers to your other FAQs :
*No, I don't speak that much Italian; hoping that my Spanish will carry me until I pick it up.
*I will be staying with relatives in their Tuscany winery, studying Etruscan ceramics, taking some video of the wine business there, helping with the label design, enjoying Italian food and gelati, as well as doing some travelling in Italy.
*I will be gone for five weeks.
*If you contact me pronto, we can work out a deal for stuffing you into my suitcase with the other three-five people who have asked.
